On April 10, 2025, from 6pm to 10:30pm, thrill-seekers and those brave enough to spice up their food are in for a treat at the Food Market, which is celebrating its 90th edition. Head for the terreplein between Belleville and Ménilmontant for a spicy edition that should put an end to the low temperatures and kick off the spring season!
From 100 to over a million on theScoville scale, the Hot in Here collective invites you to its spicy stand for a tasting of hot sauces, as well as a Russian roulette animation to challenge your friends. Among the sauces to try out is the latest from Martins Sauces, Naga Mango sauce, a skilful blend of mango puree and fresh naga pepper.
Other picante dishes to devour include mala xiangguo from Mala Boom, hot spicy corn dog from Soma Sando, chili chocolate cake from BMK, hooper, a Sri Lankan dish from Café du Coin, rougail saucisse from Oté, pyromaniac plates from Cinq fois plus de piment and plenty of other spicy street-food dishes from Melt, Mimi's Charcuterie, Distrito Françes, Kuna Family and Gili Gili.
