Foodie alert - On Saturday, July 5, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., the Rue du Bac is set to crisp up! To celebrate its tenth anniversary, Le Food Market crosses the Seine and sets up shop at the foot of La Grande Épicerie de Paris. A first on the Left Bank, and not the least: it's going to be festive, gourmet, and above all... ultra tasty!
What's on the program? An open-air market-cantine, an open-air guinguette, and a fairground atmosphere just the way we like it. Behind the stoves - or rather, on the sidewalks - the La Grande Épicerie teams come out of the basement to treat the street to hot dogs revisited with falafel, cilantro, feta and roasted pine nuts; or Viennese sausage or poultry, twisted with piquillo, sweet chili mayo and fried onions. All served with fresh coleslaw for crunch. For dessert? A vanilla-glazed roll to melt the crowd.
But that's not all, as thestreet food event also features Bang Bang (creative food in Belleville), Mehmet (the king of brooches in the 18th arrondissement), Mersea (fish and chips anthology since 2016), Cody's Bagels (New York atmosphere on rue de Grenelle), Pastavino (pasta as in Naples) and Reÿs (artisanal ice cream).

At the refreshment bar, Gallia beers and Lemonaid & ChariTea soft drinks to keep you cool. And all to the sound of Florentine Candy Club DJ sets, not forgetting the inevitable face-painting workshops for little gourmands!
A day to celebrate 10 years of the Food Market, with a chic grocery store and a shocking sidewalk!
