At Marla, the decor by Sébastien Baert blends contemporary style with a welcoming vibe: raw concrete walls, brick flooring, and natural materials create a warm atmosphere. As for drinks, signature cocktails and natural wines complete the experience perfectly.
On the plate, Chef Jude Soliven offers inventive, signature cuisine that highlights seasonal ingredients. Highlights include a spice-infused shakshuka topped with baked feta (€13), or a remarkably creamy arborio risotto (€10).
But the dish not to be missed, and which has already won over all the restaurant's regulars, is without a doubt the grilled cheese. This little gem combines three cheeses (melted cheddar, grated mozzarella, and Grana Padano) enhanced by a secret ingredient that truly makes it special (11 €). It’s so good that we couldn’t resist—so much so that we ordered a second one!
Next up: Fried cauliflower, served with a creamy Roquefort sauce and lime wedges (€10), perfect for satisfying a quick craving.
Marla is an address that's as seductive for its dishes as it is for its sweets, perfect for a gourmet moment to share or enjoy for two. A wonderful discovery in the 18th arrondissement.
