In Paris, it's fair to say that gourmands are pretty lucky... Between L'Eclair de Génie, La Maison du Chou and Gâteau Thoumieux, there's plenty to tantalize the taste buds...
And that's not all, as there are plenty of other places to indulge your palate, such as the Acide dessert restaurant.
After the macaron boutique, pastry chef Jonathan Blot, formerly of Plaza Athénée and Jules Vernes, has decided to open a second address in the 17th arrondissement.
And let's just say that this tearoom will leave no one indifferent. Just take a look at the cakes in the window, to be devoured at any time.

Breakfast, lunch, snack... Every hour has its own desires and pleasures. For Jonathan Blot, this"Sweet Store" is an opportunity to meet an inspired and inspiring clientele who share the same values and desires as he does.
At Acide, customers can enjoy a religieuse, a Paris-Brest and a Saint-Honoré all at the same time, without having to face the dilemma of having to eat all three. This is the chef's idea of the gâteau-bouchée.
Le Restaurant à Desserts also offers a menu of desserts prepared and served by the plate.
And let's face it, everything here is homemade: from the viennoiseries to the breads, lemonades and syrups, not forgetting the famous pastries....
To accompany these delights, Acide offers you quality hot beverages, thanks to the best suppliers like Café "Lomi", with whom Jonathan Blot and his wife Renata collaborate on coffee recipes.
