Tout Day introduces a truly unique concept in Paris: a locavore bistro combined with a zero-waste grocery store, a vintage clothing corner, and a small flea market—all housed under one roof! This sunny spot proves that sustainable eating doesn’t have to compromise on joy, generosity, or affordability.

Located on the often gray and hurried Boulevard Voltaire, Tout Day brightens the street with its welcoming glow. With sprawling glass windows, a sparkling terrace, and a vibrant hand-painted logo, this spot catches the eye and beckons passersby to step inside. Behind this new wave combo bistro and shop, two dedicated entrepreneurs lead the way: Clara Rohmer and Morgane Le Hir.

Longtime friends, travel companions, and now business partners, these two friends have trained in eco-friendly cuisine and have won several awards for sustainable innovation with their project, Tout Day. Their goal is to make responsible consumption easy, appealing, and part of everyday life.

The story begins in 2021 with an initially roundtable festival focused on the circular economy. Hosted at venues like the Academy of Climate and Cité Fertile, it attracted over 5,000 attendees. The event featured panel discussions, culinary residencies at Floréal Belleville, and impactful pop-up experiences — setting the stage for what would become Tout Day.

Now, Tout Day comes to life in a 130-square-meter space crafted almost entirely from repurposed materials. Reclaimed building debris, vintage furniture, and other second-hand fixtures come together to create a cheerful ambiance, blending exposed stone, raw bricks, and polished concrete. Bathed in natural light, the space mixes vintage charm with a modern vibe.

The venue goes beyond simply being a locavore restaurant: it brings together under one roof a gourmet grocery store—partly bulk— a wine cellar, a secondhand shop, and a regular community program. Tastings, sewing workshops, talks, sustainable cooking classes, charity drives — Tout Day functions as a vibrant neighborhood hub.

Part of the La Cloche program through the Carillon network, the establishment also offers the option to prepay a coffee or a meal for someone experiencing hardship.

On the plate, expect a sincere and hearty bistro-style cuisine that stands apart from the usual salads and bowls typically found in vegetarian restaurants. During weekdays, there's no meat on the menu (just fish); and on weekends, a roast chicken that’s far from the factory-farmed poultry—here, the chicken is farm-raised (€16 with a side dish) and prepared differently each Saturday.

For lunch, the short menu that is refreshed weekly focuses on hyper-local, organic, and plant-based options: just two starters, two main courses, and two desserts, with lunchtime deals that are popular for their excellent value for money. Expect to pay, for example, €16 for a starter/main or main/dessert combo, or €18.50 for the full menu. Good quality and affordable prices!

During our visit, we started with some firmly crafted as an appetizer, followed by a hearty mushroom stew accompanied by smoky mashed potatoes that truly could hold their own against a classic Provençal daube as the main course. To finish on a light note, we enjoyed a delicate that concealed a praline infused with black garlic.

Driven by a desire to do the right thing and a zero-waste approach, Tout Day elevates its dinner menu by reimagining lunchtime dishes as shareable plates (smart!; €4-€16). During afternoon tea, homemade pastries (€2-€5) make their way to the table. On Sundays, a €25 brunch combines hot and cold drinks with an appetizer, main course, and dessert in a generous, social setting—available indoors or on the sunny terrace.

Craft beers, kombucha, and organic juices round out the beverage selection, reflecting the venue’s overall commitment to quality. Meanwhile, the wine list features organic, biodynamic, and natural options, with a single glass price and bottles sold at independent wine shop rates.

Quiet and cozy before lunch, vibrant but not overwhelming during peak hours, Tout Day appeals to a diverse crowd of all ages—everyone drawn to the idea of eating better without sacrificing pleasure. A spot that proves circular economy and a good quality of life can go hand in hand!
