Philippe Conticini opened a new Gâteaux d’Emotions store in Paris 16th arrondissement, in the Passy neighborhood. This is the chef's first "bakery" unveiling a wonderful range of viennoiseries in addition to the pastries we love.

Calling all pastry and Philippe Conticini delight fans! A year after opening the Gâteaux d’Emotions patisserie on rue de Varenne (Paris 7th arrondissement), the great pastry chef gets bigger and opens a new store-tearoom in Paris 16th arrondissement. Let's run to the Passy spot unveiling for the first time a new bakery offer.

As a matter of fact, for his new address that is bigger, the chef teamed up with talented baker Sébastien Crouzat. Together, they came up with a nice range of breads and viennoiseries. Let's have some natural yeast breads with nice flour from Moulins d'Antoine. We love the Tourte de Margerides, a round 100% rye bread and the delicious hazelnut-raisin and cheese breads.

We also discover cookies and other sugar tarts and seasonal cakes. We love the delicious pain au chocolat (called chocolatine by the chef). Not too-developed puff pastry to keep it smooth and crispy stripes, we love it.

On the spot, we also discover the famous Roulés de Philippe, Japanese-inspired cakes, super light and smooth. Careful, tasting them means you'll be addicted to them.

But let's not forget about the chef's patries!

Each pastry is made to bring special emotions and we must say the chef has some experience under his belt. Now 56 years old, the chef has been baking all his life since his own parents where restaurateurs. He tried everything and at 17 years old, he starts training with a two-Michelin-starred chef. He then meets success with his innovations.

For instance, we owe him the verrines, Nutella-based desserts and classics revisited with less butter he creates for restaurants he works in and for La Pâtisserie des Rêves he launches in 2009 before leaving it in 2016.

Since 2017, the chef has been living a new adventure: Gâteaux d’Emotions. After this new address on rue de l'Annonciation, a 2rd one is expected but Muette side. More delights are to come.
