Chocolate factory Foucher is turning 200 years old this year! Since 1819, the Rue du Bac in Paris smells like chocolate.
To celebrate this anniversary at it should be, but also to treat gourmands and foodies for the Holidays 2019, Foucher is unveiling two ‘anniversary’ gift boxes.
Inside them, an assortment of ganache and praline chocolate.
Since 1905, Foucher asks illustrators and artists to create the patterns of its lovely boxes. Many Art Nouveau and Art Déco artists, such as Eugène Belville, Barbier and Arnoux have agreed to do so back then. This year, the Maison called in painter Bertrand de Miollis to paint the Paris Exotique box. The latter is filled with 22 chocolates.
