This summer 2021, Brasserie Bellanger’s terrace switches to seaside open-air café mode. Bellanger sur Mer – it is its name – opens from May 19, 2021.
Paris 10th arrondissement Brasserie Bellanger (BB for friends) does not do things by half since with Bellanger sur Mer, 120 seats are available, scattered on the two terraces set rue de Dunkerque and rue du Faubourg Poissonnière.
Although Brasserie Bellanger does not forget about their menu featuring traditional French dishes (beef tartare, veal chop, sausage-mashed potatoes, Paris-Brest…), Bellanger sur Mer is adorned with an oyster bar and a menu based on seafood and shells available from June 9, 2021. On the menu, oysters (from oyster farmer Jean-Paul Garnier), whelks (and spicy homemade mayonnaise), crab, sand shrimps, and even clams put together in big and small seafood platters. Without forgetting sardine fritters and their tartare sauce.
Wash it all with some natural wines (muscadet, sancerre, Puilly Fuissé…), and cocktails – as their menu has been recently renewed.
As for the décor and atmosphere, enjoy a frivolous open-air café vibe with fresh flowers, flags, and light strings. The whole set around a giant olive tree.
How about seating under the light strings of Bellanger sur Mer to enjoy a few oysters? Unless you are more into crab…
