In the summer of 2021, chef Amandine Chaignot will open her second address in Paris, a café-bistro named Café de Luce in the heights of Montmartre.

Chef Amandine Chaignot is preparing to open her second Parisian restaurant. After the 11th arrondissement, it's in Paris's 18th arrondissement, on the heights of Montmartre, that the chef will set down suitcases and knives in summer 2021.

While Pouliche focuses on market-driven, seasonal cuisine, this new address, called Café de Luce, aims to restore the French bistro cuisine that we love so much and that comforts us in the blink of an eye.

"Luce was my grandmother, she gave me my first taste of cooking, my first apple pie, my first mayonnaise. It's the kind of cooking I love and want to share with my family, friends and guests," explains Chef Chaignot .

Inspired by legendary Parisian cafés and the cuisine of her grandmother Luce, this new restaurant is located in the Place du Théâtre de l'Atelier, where Amandine Chaignot has lived for the past 10 years. In a 100% Parisian atmosphere, the Café de Luce will offer, from morning to night without interruption, the great classics of French bistros, with a Chaignot twist.

On the large terrace, enjoy Luce's version of soft-boiled egg; frogs' legs with almond parsley; Salers beef tartare with herbs; or cauliflower velouté glacé with herb oil and toasted bread. And for a sweet finish, a slice of tart, to be accompanied by a cocktail based on the latest liqueurs, including fenouillette, Absinthe, Dubonnet and Picon.

Café de Luce also offers a takeaway menu with a selection of signature croissants in sweet or savory versions, such as the goat's cheese and fig with hazelnuts croissant, the spinach and fourme croissant, the snails in parsley croissant, or the sweet croissants with dark chocolate praline, almond cream and candied pear.
