Just a stone's throw from Place de la Concorde, the Rosy & Maria café and restaurant is the hidden nugget that blends harmoniously into the sumptuous surroundings of the Carita beauty salon. Opened a few months ago, this café-restaurant, nestled on the second floor of the beauty salon, is sure to please. With its view over the cathedral hall, bathed in light, and a cuisine orchestrated by Amandine Chaignot, the talented chef we adore, it's a beautiful yet little-known address that deserves a detour.

With its roots in an iconic 125 m² private mansion, this culinary space unfolds lengthwise, like a walkway crossed by a large reflective mirror. Bordered by a monumental 17-metre library, the space echoes the history of the house, illustrated by a selection of heritage and contemporary objects.

On site, the creative cuisine perfectly matches Carita's values. For Amandine Chaignot, who already has two Parisian addresses to her credit(Pouliche and Café de Luce), this new culinary challenge is an exciting adventure. She promises a healthy, refined menu, full of surprises and discoveries, with seasonal produce of course.

Rosy & Maria's culinary programs:

Rosy & Maria's emphasis is on well-sourced, local produce. What better way to start the day than with a tasting of freshly baked Viennese pastries. The Corbeille de Mini Viennoiseries, including a crumbly croissant, a rich and decadent pain au chocolat and a golden raisin loaf, is a true celebration of French culinary savoir-faire.

The Salade de Fruits de Saison et Aloé Vera is a delicious blend of carefully-cut seasonal fruits, enhanced by the unique sweetness of aloe vera. A surprising, yet refreshing and invigorating alliance that exudes summer.

We continue with the lunch menu, where a Sélection de Trois Canapés is an assortment of selected bites of the day, awakening the interest of the fingertips, while the Velouté de Petits Pois brings a touch of freshness with its creamy yogurt and white onion pickles that add crunch and a welcome acidity.

The Spring Vegetable Stracciatella is a wonderful discovery, a harmonious blend of creamy stracciatella, crisp vegetables and a robust basil pesto, all served with toasted focaccia.

The main courses are as beautiful to look at as they are good to eat. TheAvocado Toast, with its toasted brioche, creamy avocado, poached organic egg and fresh herbs and sunflower seeds, is delicious. The Sot l'y Laisse is also a great option, with pieces of French-origin turkey prepared in satay and accompanied by spring vegetables and fresh herbs.

Last but not least, the desserts are not to be outdone by those with a sweet tooth. We fall for the Vacherin Framboise with its lively raspberry sorbet, crisp meringue, light crème montée and red fruit coulis that adds a sweet acidity.Earl Grey Opera is also an excellent option for those who love the subtle blend of chocolate and Earl Grey tea.

The restaurant is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 6pm, and on Thursday until 8:30pm.
