A thriller directed by Olivia Wilde, also starring Florence Pugh, opening on September 28, 2022, in France.

Don’t Worry Darling is the first feature length film Olivia Wilde releases on the silver screen. But Olivia Wilde – we discovered as 13 in House is not new in the field of directing. She directed the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Dark Necessities video (performing in July 2022, at the Stade de France), as well as Booksmart, a Netflix movie. And she is about to direct a movie focusing on the character of Spider-Woman.

In Don’t Worry Darling, Olivia Wilde directs Harry Styles. He especially played in Dunkirk by Christopher Nolan and is Eros/Starfox in The Eternals. Harry Styles will play opposite Florence Pugh we saw in Midsommar, Little Women and Black Widow. She will also star in Nolan’s Oppenheimer, opening in July 2023. And in addition to direct the movie, Olivia Wilde has a part. Chris Pine (Horrible Bosses 2, Star Trek, Wonder Woman…), Gemma Chan (The Eternals, Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, Captain Marvel…), Kiki Layne (Coming 2 America, The Old Guard…), Dita Von Teese (in Paris in June 2022) and Dakota Johnson (The High Note, 50 Shades…) are also part of the Don’t Worry Darling cast.

Alice (Florence Pugh) and Jack (Harry Styles) are lucky enough to live in the idyllic community of Victory, a small experimental town of the company housing men working for the ultra-secret Victory Project and their families. The optimism of the 1950’s enjoyed by the company is entirely shared by the CEO, Frank (Chris Pine) – both managing the visionary company and personal-development coach – and spreads through every single aspect of the daily life in this utopic bubble in the Californian desert.

Whilst men spend their days working at the headquarters of the Victory Project, working on the “development of high-end materials”, their wives, like Frank’s elegant spouse Shelley (Gemma Chan) live in luxury and idleness. Their perfect lives in this environment where the sole desire of residents is satisfied by the company. In exchange, they commit to keeping total discretion and showing resolute adhesion to the Victory cause.

But when cracks start to show, revealing the dark reality beyond the appealing façade, Alice cannot help but wonder: why are Frank and she there? What is the Victory Project’s real purpose? But is Alice ready to lose everything to discover what happens behind her paradisiac community?
