Among the Christmas Markets 2017 in Paris, you have the Alsatian Christmas Market at Paris Gare de l’Est held from December 1 to 16, 2017. This year, all Alsatian Christmas sweet and traditional treats are promoted under a circus tent sweetly smelling like Alsace.
Kougelhopf, gingerbread and brioche Männele, potato galettes, munster cheese, pork shoulder… We go discover these Alsatian specialties that can be tasted for free. And the icing on the cake: baskets full of Alsatian products are to be won every day as well as four giant Männele cuddling toys that are over one meter tall! And this, year, the market also offers 500 St Nicolas gingerbreads to an association helping Paris children!
To prepare your holidays dinners, head to the stands of Alsatian artisans to find what Alsatian gastronomy has best like the bredele, jams and sweets, goose and duck foie gras, gingerbreads, charcuteries, sauerkraut, cheese, wines and brandies.
