This 2023 edition will also see the Legends Trophy on the Suzanne-Lenglen court, the wheelchair and quad tennis tournament and the "Children of Roland-Garros" charity day(May 27), renamed " Yannick Noah Day" to celebrate the 40th anniversary of his victory on the Paris clay court.

And let's not forget the night sessions from May 29 to June 7. Organized for the first time in full capacity on the Philippe-Chatrier court last year, these evenings with the stars are an opportunity to attend matches at night. The best part? They are punctuated by a musical show to be discovered before the first match of the evening.

This spring, the Grand Slam tournament will also see the return of the 10-point super tie-break, played in the event of a 6-6 tie in the final set. Introduced in 2022, this rule had been applied from the qualifying rounds, in singles and doubles, for both men and women. " The idea was really to be aligned with the other Grand Slams. And then to preserve the interest of the television viewer was paramount. I can understand that this is not unanimous, but we could not afford to operate differently, the four Grand Slams, " explained Amélie Mauresmo at a press conference held in 2022.
