Here’s the program for the 2026 National Day celebrations in Montmorency (95)!

The town of Montmorency invites you once again this year to celebrate Bastille Day with a fireworks display on July 13, 2026. A lively community celebration and activities are also on the schedule for this festive day in Val d'Oise.

On July 14, France marks its National Day. An event that, every year, delights young and old with its military parade along the Champs-Elysées, its street dances and its inevitable fireworks, lighting up towns nationwide. In the Île-de-France region, many municipalities celebrate the National Day with their own festivities, on July 13 or 14, or even both.

And the town of Montmorency sticks to the rule! The commune in the Val d'Oise marks Bastille Day each year with a distinctly shaped program. Indeed, this is the only place where you can enjoy the traditional Fête du Bœuf, held annually in the town for July 14. But that’s not all. On the eve, the municipality runs several family-friendly activities, highlighted by the must-see fireworks, to be admired from the Parc des Sports Nelson Mandela.

The 2026 Bastille Day program in Montmorency:

21h15 : Marche aux flambeaux
Départ de la mare aux Champeaux
Join us for a torchlit parade starting at Mare aux Champeaux and ending at Parc des Sports Nelson Mandela. LED lanterns will be handed out free of charge to children.
22h45 : Feu d'artifice
Parc des sports Nelson Mandela, chemin de la Butte-aux-Pères (entrée A)
The traditional fireworks display will light up Montmorency’s sky at 23:00, followed by a festive dance party. Rendezvous at 20:30 at Parc des Sports Nelson Mandela for a spectacular pyrotechnic and musical show! Free shuttles will operate from the town hall car park (Rue Théophile-Vacher) starting at 21:00. Food and drinks will be available on site.

But the festivities don’t stop there! See you the next day, from 12:00, for the Beef Festival. All afternoon, come savor the beef deliciously spit-roasted. Numerous musical and culinary happenings await you, until 6:00 p.m.!
