Here’s how you can explore the Museum of Radiology and Medical Imaging, tucked away in Paris’s 13th arrondissement. Usually accessible only by appointment, this little-known place in the capital tells the history and development of radiology over more than a century through its collections. Guided tour of the Radiology Museum (advance registration required)
During a guided tour, you will discover how radiology emerged at the end of the 19th century and how it later blossomed thanks to the genius and passion of the pioneers who believed in and helped drive the rise of this new medical field.
You will encounter nearly 500 objects: X-ray tubes, models, and other devices tracing the discipline’s early decades from its inception through the 1950s.
