Every year, there are numerous competitions to reward the best bakers and pastry-makers in the Paris region. Recently, bakers from the Yvelines,Essonne, Seine-et-Marne and Val-d'Oise regions received awards.
This spring, the Greater Paris bakers' union also unveiled the 2025 ranking for the best traditional French baguette in Seine-Saint-Denis. Held in early April, the competition attracted a large number of entrants. But only one managed to take first prize for the best traditional baguette in 93. The winner was L'Atelier des Gourmands in Noisy-le-Grand. L'Atelier des Gourmands won the competition in the"entrepreneurs" category. A fine reward for its owner Haithem Ben Haj Yahia.
Fournil de la gare in Aulnay-sous-Bois and Maison Sohier in Noisy-le-Grand took 2nd and 3rd place respectively, in the same category.
In the"employees" category, Ali Dagouig from the Tangarfa bakery in Bondy took first place, followed by Christophe Mayland working at L'Atelier des Artistes in Romainville.
Finally, Lassana Traoré of the Tangarfa bakery finished first in the"apprentices" category.
