Public transportation across Paris and Île-de-France faces significant disruptions from February 23 to March 1, 2026. This includes the closure of line 7bis of the metro, major delays on line 13 this weekend, and ongoing maintenance work on the RER A operated by RATP and SNCF.

From Monday, February 23 to Sunday, March 1, 2026, commuters in Paris and Île-de-France public transport will need to navigate several major disruptions. The RATP and SNCF continue their extensive maintenance work, including the ongoing closure of Line 7bis and new construction on the RER A, a key line for crossing the city. The upcoming weekend promises to be particularly challenging, with service interruptions on the Line 13 of the metro and numerous delays across Transilien lines. How to plan your travel for the week ahead?

This week, from February 23 to March 1, 2026, new maintenance work will be taking place on the RER A, a key line running east-west across Paris. Nighttime closures between Nanterre-Préfecture and Cergy/Poissy will affect your evening commutes. The weekend promises particularly significant disruptions on the metro line 13, especially between La Fourche and Asnières-Gennevilliers Les Courtilles—a heavily used segment. Make sure to plan ahead and identify alternative routes, such as lines 3 and 3bis, to bypass the affected areas. Regularly check live updates on Bonjour RATP and SNCF Connect for real-time traffic information. On a brighter note, work on lines U and T13 wraps up this week. If you’ve got plans for outings this weekend, remember to allow extra travel time.

This week, from February 23 to March 1, 2026, brings some notable developments on the transportation front. New construction works are beginning on the RER A, one of the key lines in the Île-de-France network. Ongoing closures on Line 7bis and significant disruptions on Line 13 this weekend require careful planning. The good news? Several projects are wrapping up by the end of the week, including work on lines U and T13. If you’re traveling late at night, don’t forget about the Noctilien bus lines, which continue to operate across Paris and Île-de-France throughout the night. Stay strong through this busy end-of-February week!
