Météo France has issued a yellow alert for "strong winds" in the region. This is due to Storm Benjamin, which has been battering France since Wednesday, October 22, 2025. The entire country, with the exception of Vaucluse and Bouches-du-Rhône, has been placed under at least a yellow alert by the French meteorological institute.

Storm Benjamin is set to hit France on Thursday, October 23, 2025, with gusts of up to 140 km/h in some areas. In Paris and Île-de-France, placed on yellow-orange alert by Météo France, the eight departments of the Paris region are facing severe weather conditions, with gusts expected to reach between 85 and 100 km/h. In light of these conditions, and in order to ensure the safety of visitors and employees, the Jardin d'Acclimatation has announced on its social media accounts and website that it will be closed for the day. The garden in the 16th arrondissement will therefore remain closed on Thursday, October 23.
