After the best butter croissant in Greater Paris, the best baguettes in Ile-de-France, the best macaroon in Ile-de-France and the best pain au chocolat in Seine-et-Marne, now it's time for the best brioches in Seine-et-Marne!
This departmental competition brought together a number of bakers from the 77 region. They all had one and the same objective: to make the best brioche, the one with the gourmet look, the flaky crumb, the infallible taste.... In short, the perfect brioche that would enable them to win their long-awaited victory and climb to the top of the podium.
After observing, touching, smelling and, of course, tasting a number of brioches, the jury from the Maison de la Boulangerie-Pâtisserie de Seine-et-Marne unveiled the winners of the 2025 competition, held on June 17.
Three bakeries stood out, starting with Boulangerie Saint Fiacre in Avon, which won first prize in the " traditional brioche" category of the Best Brioche of Seine-et-Marne 2025 competition. The Boulangerie Aux 4 Épis in La Ferté-sous-Jouarre won in the " puff pastry brioche" category. Finally, in the apprentice category, Aurélien Muntzer, also from Boulangerie Saint Fiacre (Avon), took first place.
Congratulations to the winners and all the participants!
