Bad news for RER line A users wishing to travel to Paris from Seine-et-Marne on October 16, 2025, or for those wishing to reach Disneyland Paris in Marne-la-Vallée from the capital. Since this Thursday morning, traffic has been disrupted on RER line A between Neuilly-Plaisance and Noisy-le-Grand - Mont d'Est stations , in both directions. This follows the breakdown of a train at Bry-sur-Marne station. According to RATP, traffic is also "very disrupted" on the rest of the line.
As reported by our colleagues in Le Parisien, the resumption of traffic was initially scheduled for 8am. But the situation seems more complicated than expected. RATP is now announcing a resumption time of around 1pm.
In the meantime, the Régie Autonome des Transports Parisiens is inviting RER A users to take alternative routes, and to contact agents for further information. Le Parisien also reveals that replacement buses have been set up to help passengers with their journeys, enabling them to connect the Neuilly-Plaisance and Noisy-le-Grand - Mont d'Est stations . These buses depart from the bus stations.
RER line A is very popular with commuters. RER line A serves stations such as La Défense, Charles-de-Gaulle-Étoile, Auber, Châtelet-les-Halles, Gare de Lyon and Nation. RER line A is also very popular with tourists wishing to reach the famous Disneyland Paris park, the terminus of the RER A, located on the same branch as the Bry-sur-Marne station, currently affected by major disruptions.
