Paris is preparing to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the November 13 attacks. To ensure that these ceremonies run smoothly, disruptions are to be expected in November 2025, including traffic restrictions. Here's everything you need to know.

The week of November 10, 2025, is shaping up to be particularly difficult for motorists traveling through Paris. Traffic and parking restrictions are to be expected due to the November 11 ceremonies. But that's not all, as disruptions are also expected in connection with the 10th anniversary commemorations of the November 13 attacks.

OnThursday, November 13, 2025, several events are planned in the capital, including an official tribute ceremony that will take place at the memorial garden located on Place Saint-Gervais, in the center of Paris. This ceremony will also be broadcast live on giant screens set up on Place de la République.

These various commemorations will therefore have an impact on motorists and pedestrians alike. The City of Paris has announced several restrictions. Specifically, from November 2 (6 p.m.) to November 12 in the morning, then from November 14 to November 17 in the evening, Rue Lobau will be closed to pedestrians and cars, "except for emergency vehicles and construction deliveries," it said.

Please also note that the direction of traffic will be reversed on Rue de l'Hôtel-de-Ville. Finally, access to the memorial garden at Place Saint-Gervais will be closed. However, the Hôtel de Ville metro station (lines 1 and 11) will remain open during this period, according to the City of Paris.
