Ten years after the attacks of November 13, emotions are still running high. On Thursday, November 13, 2025, Paris commemorates the sad 10th anniversary ofthese tragic events that shook the country. Throughout the day, several ceremonies are planned to pay tributeto the victims, particularlyat all the sites affected: theStade de France, the Bataclan, and cafés and restaurants in the 10th and 11th arrondissements.
From 6 to 8 p.m., a large ceremony, attended by the President of the Republic, will take placeat the memorial garden near Paris City Hall. This event willbe broadcast live on TF1 and France 2, and shown on a giant screen at Place de la République.

Paris is preparing to mark the sad 10th anniversary of the November 13 attacks. In addition to these official ceremonies, several symbolic gestures will also mark this day, Thursday, November 13, 2025. Certain Parisian monuments, including the Eiffel Tower, City Hall, and the Statue of the Republic, will be illuminated in blue, white, and red.
The bells of Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, as well as all Parisian churches, will also ring in the evening in tribute to the victims of the November 13 attacks. "Ten years ago, our city was brutally plunged into mourning by the death of 130 innocent people. For many of us, the memory of November 13, 2015, is still today that of a long night of anguish" and "of our shock at the intensity of evil," wrote the Archbishop of Paris, Laurent Ulrich,in a message addressed to Parisians.
According to the Diocese of Paris, which spoke to AFP, "the bells of all churches must ring between 5:57 p.m. and 6:02 p.m." However, the churches closest to Place Saint-Gervais, where the official tribute is to be held in the center of the capital, "will not ring again until 8:00 p.m." so as not to disturb the ceremony.
