New concerts at the Stade de France this week and new disruptions to expect around the Paris-area venue. With four The Weeknd shows on the schedule, motorists will need to adapt. Here’s what you need to know about the traffic restrictions announced around the Stade de France on July 8, 10, 11 and 12, 2026.

The summer season continues at the Stade de France! After Jul, Aya Nakamura, Bruno Mars, David Guetta and System of a Down, the spotlight shifts to The Weeknd! The Canadian star, who already headlined the Paris-area venue in 2023, is back at this iconic arena in Seine-Saint-Denis. This time, The Weeknd will stage four blazing shows on Wednesday, July 8; Friday, July 10; Saturday, July 11; and Sunday, July 12, 2026. It’s a chance for the North American artist to roar through some of his biggest hits inside France’s largest stadium.

And there could be crowds gathering around the Stadium this week. While some will opt for public transport to reach the venue, others will prefer their car or a motorized two-wheeler. If you opt for the latter, plan ahead, because traffic restrictions are being announced around the stadium on July 8, 10, 11 and 12. That’s what the road information site Sytadin says. So, what should you expect over these four days near the Stade de France? Here’s the answer.

On each concert day, security measures will be put in place and some disruptions are to be expected, notably at exit ramp N°9 of the A86 motorway outer carriageway, but also at exit ramp N°2 of the A1 motorway (Paris-to-province), at the level of exit ramp N°8 on the A86 outer carriageway. Find in detail these traffic restrictions planned for July 8, 10, 11 and 12.

Traffic restrictions around the Stade de France on Wednesday the 8th, Friday the 10th, Saturday the 11th and Sunday the 12th of July 2026

  • Exit ramp No. 9 on the A86 (outer carriageway) closed from 10:15 PM on event day until 1:00 AM the following morning.
  • Exit ramp No. 2 on the A1, Paris-to-province direction, closed from 9:45 PM on the event day to 12:30 AM the next day.
  • Exit ramp No. 8 on the A86 (outer carriageway) toward the collector road to Saint-Denis Pleyel closed from 10:15 PM on the event day to 1:00 AM the following morning.
  • Neutralisation of the hard shoulder of access ramp No. 9 from 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM the next day.
  • Right-hand lane of the A86 outer carriageway, upstream of exit No. 8, blocked from 10:15 PM to 1:00 AM.

Due to these numerous disruptions, Sytadin urges spectators to prioritise public transport, such as the RER B and D and metro lines 13 and 14.
