After twelve days of intense festivities, the Cannes Film Festival 2025 is already drawing to a close, and the awards are starting to roll in. This is particularly true of the Un Certain Regard selection, focused on auteur and discovery cinema, which this year featured 20 films in competition , including 9 first films also competing for the Caméra d'Or.
For this 78th edition of the festival, the Un Certain Regard jury, chaired by British director, screenwriter and cinematographer Molly Manning Walker, included French-Swiss director and screenwriter Louise Courvoisier, Croatian director of the Rotterdam International Film Festival Vanja Kaludjercic, Italian director, producer and screenwriter Roberto Minervini and Argentine actor Nahuel Pérez Biscayart.
Together, they presented 6 awards on Friday, May 23.
