Once again,Cinef has confirmed its role as a springboard for new talent. After a new edition rich in discoveries, this prestigious competition has just unveiled its vintage 2025 winners, rewarded under the aegis of the jury chaired by German director and screenwriter Maren Ade, and comprising Camélia Jordana, José María Prado Garcia, Reinaldo Marcus Green and Nebojša Slijepčević.
Once again this year, the choice proved difficult, with no fewer than 16 films by film students chosen from 2679 applicants from 646 film schools around the world. This record number of entries testifies to the growing importance of La Cinef on the international film scene.
The winners received €15,000, €11,250 and €7,500 respectively, but beyond the financial aspect, these prizes also offer real visibility to these young filmmakers, opening the way to new opportunities.
The winning films will be screened at the Pantheon cinema on June 6.
