For Beard Day and the release of the documentary series “Vikings: The Rise and Fall” on September 18 on National Geographic France, the Disney group nature channel opens Viking Barber Shop, a temporary barber shop in the heart of Paris 8th arrondissement, from September 2 to 4, 2022.

Feel like trimming your beard like a Viking? Run to Viking Barber Shop, a temporary store in Paris 8th arrondissement, at 17 bis rue de la Boétie, opening from September 2 to 4, 2022. A National Geographic barber shop opening of World’s Beard Day and for the release of the documentary series “Vikings: The Rise and Fall” on the Disney documentary channel, from September 18, in France.

You might think a barber to celebrate Vikings and their civilization is a bit far-fetched. Not quite, actually. Despite their bloody reputation, Vikings were especially stylish. Cult of the body, bathing long before Europeans, the art of braiding and beard… The Vikings were ahead of their time in Europe and in some way in the body care field.

An aspect of the life of Vikings the documentary tells you about through the latest archeological findings. As for the barbershop, it will provide you to truly dive into the heart of Viking culture with different services, from beard trimming to haircut and breading of the beard or hair. A barbershop available upon appointment (but you can come on a whim and see if there is a slot available). Reservations open on August 22.
