From July 31 to August 5, 2026, artistic swimming takes over the Olympic Aquatic Centre to launch the European Championships. Between spectacular acrobatic ballets, spellbinding solos, and razor-sharp duets, discover the lineup of this discipline where sport becomes true art.

This is the discipline that opens the Championnats d'Europe de Paris: artistic swimming takes up residence at the Centre Aquatique Olympique(CAO) in Saint-Denis, from Friday, 31 July to Wednesday, 5 August 2026. Combining grace, athletic power and musical creativity, Europe’s best specialists will compete in a pool where the slightest slip in synchronization costs them points.

This week’s artistic lineup features Solo, Duo (technique and free), Mixed Duo, along with spectacular Team competitions and the Acrobatic Ballets. Driven by millimeter-perfect choreography and jaw‑dropping aerial feats, the athletes must showcase exceptional breath control and flawless core stability — all while keeping a smile for the judges and the audience.

After turning heads at the latest major international events, the French team is eager to shine on home soil in this Olympic stage. Between poetic performances and extraordinary physical feats, it’s one of the most captivating and visually dazzling events to watch with the whole family!
