With just a few days to go to the grand final of the 69thEurovision Song Contest, the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) has issued a reminder of therunning order for the contest's two semi-finals. After a first semi-final in which 10 countries qualified, it's time for the second and final semi-final on Thursday, May 15, 2025!
Initially, 37 countries competed in Basel, Switzerland, with the same goal: to win and succeed last year'sEurovision winner, Nemo. But of these 37 participants, only 26 will have the chance to take part in the grand final on Saturday, May 17, 2025.
On May 15, 2025, 16 candidates will defend their title and their country's colors in Basel. But only ten of them will have the chance to be selected for the final. This Thursday, the Austrian JJ, ranked as one of the favorites by the bookmakers, is expected to take part, along with Australia's Go-Jo, Finland's Erika Vikman, Israel's Yuval Raphael and Malta's Miriana Conte. In addition, three countries, automatically qualified, will unveil their performances for the occasion. This is the case of France with Louane.
