This spring,Eurovision fans are in the starting-blocks. The famous song contest is back with a new 69th edition. Following the victory of Switzerland's Nemo last year, the final will take place in Basel on Saturday, May 17, 2025. Will it be a memorable day for France? Will Louane, the French candidate, succeed in taking first place, 48 years after Marie Myriam's victory with her song"L'oiseau et l'enfant"? The suspense remains. For the time being, France's representative is one of the 5 favorites in the contest, according to the bookmakers. But the rankings could well be upset in the coming days. After all, the 37 candidates will unveil their performances in the two semi-finals on May 13 and 15.

The artist is expected to wear a black lace dress and sing amidst grains of sand.Eurovision and Louane have shared on their social networks several images taken on May 8 during the artist's first rehearsal. They show a tornado of sand falling from the ceiling and surrounding the singer, as if to symbolize the passage of time.
