Seth: here is the street artist's new mural in Belleville

If you live or work in the Belleville neighborhood, you may have spotted Seth's new mural. This time, the famous French "globe painter" has transformed the gable wall at 51 Boulevard de Belleville in eastern Paris. 

As always, Seth has created a poetic work featuring children with hidden faces. While one little girl takes shelter under an umbrella, another devours a book. In total, four children " from different backgrounds and cultures " are represented here by Seth. They all come together to build a living tower.

This mural was chosen by Parisians in a vote held online in December 2024. Created as part of the "Art and Culture in the Streets of the 11th Arrondissement " project, which was voted for in the Participatory Budget, Seth's large mural pays tribute to " the diversity of the neighborhood's population in a colorful aesthetic."

For fans of Seth's work, there are many other pieces by the street artist to be seen on the streets of Paris. One notable example is in the 13th arrondissement, where Seth has created a huge anamorphic image representing childhood in the city. Another isin the Butte-aux-Cailles neighborhood, where you'll find the now famous little girl walking on tanks in tribute to Ukraine.
