In light of the extreme heat forecast, the Village Festival has been adjusted to ensure everyone's safety and comfort. All daytime activities have been cancelled. The celebrations will begin at 7 p.m. at Parc de la Mairie. For added comfort, a cooling zone with a misting system and shaded areas will be set up on site.
In the Val d'Oise, the town of Margency, nestled in the Montmorency Valley, is staging its village festival on Saturday, June 27, 2026. The whole family is invited to join a festive day, from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m., at the Parc de la Mairie, with a host of free activities! Just 15 kilometers from Paris, this second-smallest commune in the department has programs for every age group.
From early morning, the youngest visitors can enjoy an educational farm, inflatable structures, a face-painting booth, sports games and wooden play areas for family fun. From 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m., a clay modeling workshop will let creativity flow! Later, you’ll have the honor of attending the leisure center’s dance show, crafted especially for you—a moment that promises to be absolutely adorable.
Starting at 6 p.m., the dance party kicks off, with live shows and DJ sets that will keep the energy going until 2 a.m.! On the bill: Time to Rock, Open Doors and Friends, DJ Carl and DJ Envel are sure to set this little town in the Val d'Oise on fire! Sweet and savory food trucks will be on site to feed you all day long.
To reach this event, you can take line H and get off at Soisy – Champs de courses d’Enghien or at Ermont-Eaubonne, which is also accessible via line J. Be aware that you’ll then need to catch one of the many buses bound for Margency, since no rail line serves the town directly.
