Windo: Hyatt Regency new rooftop bar in Paris

Here’s to everyone having their heads in the clouds: Hyatt Regency opens its bar featuring a vertiginous view. Perched on the 34^th floor of this legendary hotel, Windo, formerly known as La Vue, welcomes you after two years of embellishment work. This spot could become (again) your headquarters if you enjoy going up. This covered rooftop features an unobstructed view on the French capital, 140 meters above the ground.

Here, we discover a bar with a unique setting. Thanks to architect George Wong’s talent, we enter a surprising universe where the Belle Epoque meets with the modern era. A clash between two worlds that’s translated into a both chic and muted atmosphere with velvet, leather and hues of blue, beige and wood. Comfortably seated, we sip a drink and nibble on a few appetizers while admiring the wonderful view thanks to the huge windows. From up there, it’s hard to miss the beauty of the City of Lights.

As for the menu, it’s as delicious as the show given by the capital. Cocktails pay tribute to Parisian icons from the roaring twenties: Madame Joséphine (Parisian gin, elderberry liquor, Lil let, soda), Marguerite (Amber-colored tequila, mandarin, grapefruit, pink salt from Himalaya) and even De Beauvoir (Gin, raspberry, white cocoa, Champagne), these true mixology works of art will surprise many taste buds. Violet, jasmine, lavender and even macadamia milk, here it’s all about ingenuity with unique ingredients to satisfy a connoisseur and demanding clientele.

In the plate, we enjoy fresh and flavorful savors. Bao burgers, salmon hearts, croques-monsieur, tempura and even spring rolls, we could even lick our fingers. This fabulous cocktail full of creativity, this sublime view and this as cozy as hype atmosphere are as many reasons to make Windo your new HQ.
