If you were seduced by the concept of the " Au Fût et à Mesure " bar, then you're likely to love the one offered by Monsieur Le Zinc.
Located in the Odéon district of Paris, this 50s-style gas station invites customers to help themselves to beer and wine (all selected by Le Petit Ballon) via old gas pumps, and for as little as €3 a glass!
How does it work? Customers load the amount of their choice onto a magnetic card that they can swipe at the bartender.
They then take their glass, fill it up and enjoy the various beverages from dispensers concealed in old petrol pumps. The countdown is done by the centilitre.
What's on offer? A dozen wines and a fine selection of blondes, browns, reds, whites...
The aim of Xavier, Charles and Grégoire, the three founders of Monsieur Le Zinc? " Create more interaction between people, and help them discover products they wouldn't necessarily have tasted in a more traditional bar.
And to accompany these drinks, Monsieur Le Zinc also offers Franco-Spanish platters.
