Residents of the 18th arrondissement and especially of the Lamarck district, here is the bakery that you absolutely must try! At Atelier P1, the bakers want to make a real bread like we rarely see nowadays, which is really nourishing, good for your health and above all, tasty, like in the past! These are made with old wheat flour, bought from small millers, not hybridized. All the ingredients are 100% organic and the products are made with love, in the bakery, before your eyes.
You can buy special breads, organic pastries, sweet and savory pies, with a vegan option, only with seasonal fruits and vegetables to respect nature, sourdough focaccia, healthy sandwiches and tasty pastries! You'll even find coffee (Esperanza Café), tea (Bonthés) and homemade lemonades and iced teas. Sourdough breads are available by the slice or by the piece, and some are gluten-free, if you are intolerant. Depending on your taste, try the one with dried fruits and nuts, or the one with rice and buckwheat flour.
As for pastries, we strongly recommend the fruit tarts, which are tasty (if you find apricots, you'll tell us about them!), but the cookies, monocles, financiers, cinnamon rolls or babkas will quickly become indispensable in your life as soon as you taste them!
A bakery close to its customers, Atelier P1 also welcomes the curious who wish to learn how to make their own sourdough breads! Every Wednesday, from 3 to 6 pm, you are invited to the bakery to learn all about the secrets of making this organic bread, for a fee of 90 euros. We knead, we shape and we bake, everyone puts his hand to the dough!
Everyone will then be able to taste their creationwith French products and leave with the recipe, as well as a small jar of 100% natural leaven. Children are also welcome, accompanied by their parents. Attention, the workshops are on reservation, and are quickly full, so do not delay to register!
