A new wave of chocolate is about to sweep through the capital! Brigitte Macron's family chocolate factory, Maison Jean Trogneux, is (finally) coming to Paris in April 2025, just in time for Easter. No more round-trips to Amiens to taste their mythical macaroons and exceptional chocolates-from now on, all you have to do is make a detour to rue des Martyrs to succumb to their hand-crafted sweets.
Since 1872, the Trogneux family hasbeen delighting gourmets with know-how handed down through six generations. At the head of the company? Jean-Baptiste Trogneux, grand-nephew of Brigitte Macron (herself a great-granddaughter of the founder), and heir to a chocolate know-how that has been melting taste buds for over 150 years. Already established in Amiens, Lille, Arras, Saint-Quentin and Le Touquet, this Picardy institution is now tackling the capital for the very first time, with a boutique nestled in the heart of a district prized by foodies: 54 rue des Martyrs.
According to a press release, the store, with its sleek, modern design, will showcase the iconic macarons d'Amiens and chocolates for which the company is famous. And to mark its arrival in Paris, Trogneux plans to pull out all the stops with an exclusive collection of crunchy chocolates in the shape of Parisian monuments - from the Eiffel Tower to the Sacré-Coeur and Notre-Dame - filled with delicious almond, hazelnut, pistachio and pecan pralines. Enough to delight gourmets in love with the capital!
Of course, you'll find all the classics: ultra-soft macarons d'Amiens, chocolate-covered speculoos and delicious marshmallow bears.
After more than a century of success in the North, it's now time for Paris to succumb... Join us in April 2025 in the 9th arrondissement for a sweet experience to die for!
