An all-you-can-eat brunch in the Yvelines, in the heart of nature and just a few kilometers from Paris, between Marly le Roi and Bougival? That's what La Parenthèse Verte has to offer, a restaurant bathed in light and boasting a large green terrace, located in the heart of the Granges du Barry park in Louveciennes. With its variety of dishes and bucolic, exotic setting, La Parenthèse Verte invites you to enjoy a gourmet getaway on any Sunday, sunny or otherwise.
Every Sunday, from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., the restaurant offers its very popular brunch at €43 per adult and €25 for children aged 3 to 11. Children under 3 are free. It's the ideal place to go green without having to travel far.
On arrival, an indoor parking lot opens up. No need to turn to park if you're coming by car. The restaurant looks like a wooden chalet. As you enter, you discover a very large , bright room with a long bar and tables facing the large picture windows overlooking the wide terrace.
A second room reveals itself to the left, ideal for large groups and large tables. This is where you'll discover the all-you-can-eatbrunch , arranged in a U-shape.
We start by serving ourselves unlimited hot drinks. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate are on the menu. Fresh grapefruit and orange juices are also available.
Then it's on to the sweet buffet, with its wide selection of golden pastries, pancakes, muffins, brioches, doughnuts and special breads. Gourmets will be delighted with Liège waffles, fresh fruit salad, a variety of cereals and a selection of artisanal honeys and jams.
On the savory side, there's no shortage of choice, with fine charcuterie, a seafood platter, smoked salmon, melting mozzarella with tomatoes, quiche, eggs with truffle mayonnaise, antipasti and mixed salads for a touch of freshness.
The hot buffet, renewed according to the chef's inspirations, invites us to sample traditional French dishes ranging from scrambled eggs with bacon to a variety of fish, gratins dauphinois and tasty pasta with homemade sauces.
Before moving on to dessert, of course, there's the cheese.
Sweet tooths won't be left out, with a dessert buffet featuring gourmet tarts, homemade cakes, chocolate mousse, caramelized crème brûlée, light tiramisu, not forgetting the inevitable floating island with custard.
But beyond the gastronomy, it's also for its exceptional setting that we linger at La Parenthèse Verte. Nestled in the heart of the Parc des Granges du Barry, the restaurant enjoys a peaceful setting, ideal for a break away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
On the other days of the week, the restaurant welcomes you with a bistronomic menu based on fresh, homemade produce.

La Parenthèse Verte in Louveciennes: the bistronomic restaurant in the Yvelines with terraceThe Granges du Barry are part of the historic heritage of Louveciennes. This estate was once attached to a château given by Louis XV to his favorite, Madame du Barry, in 1769. Situated high above the Seine, it offered an exceptional panoramic view. After the French Revolution, the château changed owners several times, each contributing to the beautification of the park by planting ornamental trees and winding paths. In 1974, the commune of Louveciennes reclaimed the park and transformed it into a public green space, accessible to all, with children's play areas, a tennis club and a restaurant.
Today, the Parc des Granges du Barry is a true haven of peace, where biodiversity is preserved thanks to the installation of beehives, bird and bat nesting boxes, as well as hedgehog and insect shelters. An enchanting setting in which to relax over a hearty brunch.
Children can enjoy the green spaces in front of the restaurant and the nearby zip-line, while parents enjoy a coffee on the terrace. This brunch is ideal for those looking to unwind. It's ideal when you're looking to soak up the sun, but its two covered dining rooms mean you can treat yourself whatever the weather. At the time of our visit, there were couples on the terrace with sunglasses on their noses, families with children enjoying the large space and groups of friends.
If you're looking for good value for money, all in a green setting, this is a brunch that might appeal to you. Why not treat yourself to a Parenthèse Verte ?
