Fancy mixing a brushstroke with a bite? In the heart of the hybrid space of Talk Arty to Me, you can both taste delicious bites and unleash your creative talents! The venue unfolds over a generous space divided into two distinct premises: on one side, a studio dedicated to hands-on workshops, and on the other, a restaurant with raw, vintage decor, both complemented by pleasant terraces.
Whether you’re here to start a new discipline or simply to share a meal with friends, the ambition of the space created by the trio Alice, Germain, and Julian is to make art an accessible, everyday, and lively rendezvous. A versatile offering, where you can choose to sign up for guided courses led by artists: knitting, sewing, painting, drawing, clay modeling, or opt, like us, for a self-guided creative kit.
For these workshops, you don’t need to know the basics—the one‑hour sessions are beginner-friendly, with all materials included, of course. You’ll be set up on the ground floor for shaping, or in the basement for everything else—a true treasure trove for art lovers, even featuring a superb room dedicated to textile. Everything you could possibly need is right here, and then some!
All you have to do is book your time slot in the calendar! With the discovery offer, budget €23 for a first session or €30 for the following ones, unless you’d rather go for a subscription. Duo sessions for parents and kids are also on offer, as are packages like the brunch duo pack, or packs dedicated to activities such as ceramics. To take things at your own pace, without any pressure, opt for the self-guided kit option!
No need to wait for a specific hour or day—just pick your discipline, with or without a reservation, subject to availability, of course. Self-hardening clay, acrylic, charcoal, collage, watercolor, pastel, between 20 and 35€, it’s up to you, with a hot or cold drink included!
With equipment in hand, we settled into a quiet corner for a moment of creation in the pastel vibe where the mind wanders freely, and we sipped a strawberry juice. An opportunity to chat, to take our time, to pause for a moment, and let creativity flow (whether or not the result hits the mark—the main thing is to have fun!).
But if you’re not looking to create anything in particular, the space also doubles as a coffee shop where you can enjoy specialty coffees, house-made pastries and artisanal drinks. Note, however, that the space is dédié à la déconnexion, so you won’t be able to settle in to work on a laptop.
During our pastel-colored session on the terrace, we ordered a few sharing plates to nibble on while we worked on our art, at aperitif time, but during tea time, choose a slice of banana bread or a madeleine!
On the plate side, the restaurant's menu leans into seasonal recipes, offering fresh, hearty, and relaxed cooking. Delicious moules gratinées en persillade (12€) and crispy fries with a herb sauce (8€) delighted us as we stepped from the sidewalk into the dining room across the street.
Even there, creativity sticks with us! We loved that the playful experience continues, with pencils provided on tables for drawing on small boards with a little challenge!
The finest artworks even get their moment in the spotlight... in the venue's toilets! We opted for a fine tomato tart (17€) with whole-mustard seeds, which lend real bite to the dish. For dessert, the frozen ricotta cream (9€) brings a refreshing finish, creamy and topped with slivered almonds and a lovely madeleine.
If you pair hands-on activities with a full meal and drinks, the overall budget can be a little steep, but the upside is you can share plates and enjoy an aperitif. It’s also a chance to come back to try other activities, or just the restaurant, or pop in for a coffee on a whim!
A lovely place, perfect for clearing your head, sparking your artistic side, and enjoying great food to boot!
