Looking for the best ice creams in Paris? How about discovering the icy creations of Le Bristol's new pastry chef? The palace is playing the ice cream card for summer 2025. In the heart of the Epicerie du Bristol, a stone's throw from the Champs-Élysées, the legendary Parisian palace unveils a collection of artisanal ice creams, both refined and regressive.

We owe these freshly baked treats to Maxence Barbot, our new pastry chef, who brings his creativity to bear on recipes imagined as genuine pastry desserts.
Each flavor is turbinated by hand, in very small batches, with the goldsmith's precision for which the palace is renowned. A great excuse to make a gourmet stop on rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, opposite Le Bristol, to take away one of these ice creams.
There are three recipes in this ice-cream collection, conceived as mini ice-cream pastries: the first is a timeless vanilla ice-cream, made with rare vanillas from Tahiti and Madagascar. It features crunchy caramelized pecans and a homemade caramel coulis, in a perfect interplay of textures.
The second is for chocolate lovers, with a 65% dark Madagascar chocolate ice cream, topped with a generous sprinkling of homemade cookies, and enhanced by a melting chocolate coulis reminiscent of childhood snacks revisited in a palatial version.
Finally, the third creation offers a fruity, milky duo: a Carpentras strawberry sorbet, accompanied by yoghurt ice cream, and topped with a homemade strawberry and raspberry coulis. A light, lively, almost floral creation, which can even be enhanced with a verbena meringue topping for a vegetal note. You can also choose from a range of homemade toppings: cookie chips, pecans or crunchy meringue, added on request for an extra €2.
And don't forget that L'Épicerie also sells the house's beautiful pastries... Wouldn't you just love to try Maxence Barbot's flans?
Priced at €14 for a 250 g tub, these ice creams by Maxence Barbot can be enjoyed on the go, or slipped into an isothermal bag to enjoy at home or in the office. This is a great opportunity to discover the new face of the Bristol patisserie, in a simple, fresh and highly gourmet format. Available by click & collect from the Épicerie du Bristol website, or for direct sale at 112 rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, Wednesday to Sunday, 10.30am to 5.30pm. A generous, frosty break that's easy to share for two (or more).
