The summer terrace at the Ritz opens on Place Vendôme in Paris

Every year, new ephemeral terraces open their arms to us. The summer of 2025 will see the arrival of the Terrasse d'été at the Ritz Paris. This special terrace will be set up not in the heart of the garden, but right on Place Vendôme!

Set at the foot of the column, this 200 m² terrace promises to be a haven of peace and freshness, surrounded by pruned boxwood, fragrant jasmine, climbing roses and ivy. The furniture, in rattan and wrought iron, is inspired by the codes of Parisian bistros, with its green and white stripes recalling the elegance of French seaside resorts. The visual signature of the Ritz can be found here, in a décor designed to create a suspended moment, between light and shade, the scent of flowers and discreet refinement.

On the à la carte menu, Florian Guilloteau, sommelier manager at the Ritz Paris, proposes three Bellini-style cocktails that celebrate summer with finesse: Mirabelle-Verveine, Blackcurrant-Mint and Lemon-Passion-Vanilla. These creations, with or without champagne, are accompanied by a selection of tapas that are light and fresh. Suggestions include smoked salmon and lemon caviar blinis, cucumber and rhubarb pickle tzatziki or brioche and pastrami sandwiches.

On the sweet side, fresh fruit cups (such as poached peach with redcurrant or strawberries and raspberries with whipped cream) offer a sweet note that's just right for summer. And don't forget the takeaway ice-cream cart, with unexpected flavours such as strawberry-hibiscus or Alphonso mango, topped with toppings as elegant as they are delicious: caramelized hazelnuts, meringue, chocolate almonds or raspberry.

This Terrasse d'été at the Ritz Paris takes place every day from July 1 to August 10, 2025, from 4pm to 9pm, in the heart of Place Vendôme. Cocktails are available from €35 non-alcoholic and €38 alcoholic, champagne from €25, tapas from €36, fruit cups from €25, and takeaway ice creams from €14 for two scoops with your choice of toppings. A chic break to be enjoyed in the shade of the parasols, lulled by the floral scents and timeless charm of this emblematic district.
