As the Aïd marking the end of Ramadan approaches, a unique dinner event is taking shape in Saint-Ouen. On Friday, March 27, 2026, starting at 6 p.m., the Café Jaune will host a large-scale solidarity banquet crafted by the female chef duo Hana Decès and Alcidia Vulbeau.
Longtime friends, the two chefs have created a collaborative four-hands menu driven by a shared goal: offering hearty, approachable cuisine while giving the event a meaningful charitable aspect. The evening's concept centers around a spirit of sharing.
Some guests reserve their seats online, while others receive invitations through the Utopia 56 and OAK93 associations. For every meal purchased, an additional meal is donated to someone facing hardship. Single mothers, children, and unaccompanied minors are all welcomed to join this joyful evening.
All proceeds will be donated to Utopia 56, an organization dedicated to supporting refugees and families in need in Paris and the Île-de-France region. A donation station will also be set up on site to gather essential supplies.
On the culinary side, the menu highlights flavors from the Maghreb and the Middle East. The offerings include: egg brick pastry and homemade harissa as starters, spiced roasted chicken served with fennel seasoned with sumac and Djerbian vegetable rice, followed by a generous seasonal salad. For dessert, expect a mix of orange blossom mouhalabieh and chocolate mousse. House specialties such as mint tea, lemonade, and iced tea round out the meal.
Priced at €37, this inclusive feast also offers vegetarian, vegan, and halal meat options. An evening dedicated to sharing, warmth, and togetherness!
