BBQ fans are set to descend on Chatou, on the Île des Impressionnistes, for the inaugural Barbecue Fest, on July 4 and 5, 2026.

Calling all barbaque enthusiasts! On July 4 and 5, 2026, the town of Chatou will host the very first edition of the Barbecue Fest Paris in the lush setting of the Île des Impressionnistes. On the doorstep of the capital, this event promises to blend BBQ and live music in a summery, convivial atmosphere.

For two days, visitors will be able to enjoy 40,000 m² of outdoor entertainment, concerts on two stages, tastings, competitions, and numerous themed spaces. The stated aim: to celebrate the art of barbecue in all its forms and to turn the cooking over fire into a sharing moment.

The festival will center on five villages. Among them, Pimentopolis is set to attract adrenaline enthusiasts with its hot sauce tastings and the final of the Piment d’Or contest. Competitors will face the ultimate challenge against the formidable Carolina Reaper, one of the hottest peppers in the world.

Food enthusiasts will also discover the Street Food BBQ village, where 16 flame-cooking specialists will take visitors on a culinary journey—from Texas’s low-and-slow smokers to Argentine parrilla, Korea’s grills, Brazil’s churrasco, the French brazier, and Creole smoked chicken. The Weber Cup France will be another major highlight, bringing together 60 teams from across the country to face off in culinary challenges.

On its side, the Rock’n’Roll Village, imagined in collaboration with Harley-Davidson, will immerse the audience in an atmosphere blending legendary motorcycles, a pop-up tattoo studio, unplugged concerts and vintage culture.

Tickets start at €22, and entry is free for children under 12. Barbecue Fest Paris is ready and waiting for BBQ fans!
