At La Villette, Boom Boom Villette adds a terrace to its food court for the sunny season... The dining and leisure complex shifts into summer mode with an outdoor space designed for enjoying a meal, a drink, or a moment of relaxation, from April 18, 2026 through autumn 2026. On the doorstep of the food market, this 400 m² terrace exudes an outdoor-facing vibe, with tables, parasols, freely accessible games and the presence of the ice-cream shop Bon dimanche. A destination to keep in mind if you’re looking for a simple place to linger on sunny days, with family, friends or after work.
The idea is simple: pick what you want from one of the food court’s eateries, then settle outside to soak up the space. Boom Boom Villette maps out fifteen concepts, with a varied lineup of takeaway options that let you build a meal to suit the moment. On the terrace, picnic tables, garden chairs, and standing tables create a relaxed setting—designed to extend a lunch break, a mid-afternoon snack, or an early-evening bite without having to switch venues.
This summer terrace isn't just about the food: Boom Boom Villette is bringing back several games that already drew a crowd last year, like pétanque, cornhole and mölkky. For the 2026 season, new activities enrich the lineup, with a ping-pong table and XXL versions of games, among them chess, Connect Four or even Jenga. You can simply come to eat, linger over a chat, start a round, or let the kids entertain themselves between bites.
The season’s culinary novelty also comes from Bon dimanche, which has set up its ice creams on the terrace. The ice cream shop offers organic, French-made ice creams, served in a tub or cone, featuring classic flavors, sorbets, and a few more distinctive creations like the thé matcha or the sésame noir. A fairly natural fit for sunny days, providing a refreshing pause after the meal or an impromptu treat. It adds an extra option for those who mainly come to wander or take a break in the Villette neighborhood.
With this terrace, Boom Boom Villette expands its outdoor footprint in Paris’s northeast scene. Between a food court, ice creams, games and an urban guinguette vibe, the spot broadens its universe into a more open format designed to accompany the sunny season. The season will tell whether this outdoor space becomes a regular stop for visitors to La Villette, as they lunch, unwind after the day, or head out for spontaneous evenings.
