Durand-Dupont 's new seafood bench now offers everything you need to satisfy your cravings for well-chosen oysters (Gillardeau, Fine de Claire, Creuses de Bretagne, Plates de Belon... from €13 to €30 for 6), not to mention shellfish lovers (clams, Spanish mussels, whelks.from €8 to €15 per portion), and shellfish aficionados such as blue lobster with homemade mayonnaise (€28 per half or €55 whole), crab (€11 per half or €20 whole), langoustines (€20 per 6) and prawns (€15.50 per 8).
The house also offers a pair of pretty and imposing seafood platters at €68 and €158, as well asoyster assortments at €38 for 12 or €75 for 24, with the added bonus of always impeccable service from the wait staff. Note that this new seafood bench is set up behind a bar surrounded by a dozen high chairs, on which you can settle down to enjoy your seafood while watching the shucker do his work.
But our carnivorous friends can rest assured that the Durand Dupont's ecumenical menu, with its wide choice, still offers its "Sénéquier" beef tartar (€21.50), its genuine filet of beef with pepper (€36), or its fine French veal chop with morels (€44).
