The little prince of street-food seems unstoppable. Just one year after opening his Janet stall, which doubles as a grocery store worthy of a New York delicatessen , Moïse Sfez is set to open a café in the Marais district early next year. And while Janet was named after her grandmother, this new venue will pay tribute to Janet's husband, her grandfather Maurice.
Moïse Sfez has dreamed of this coffee shop all his life. From next February, on rue Rambuteau, you'll be able to enjoy "the best Liège waffles in the capital", according to the main man himself, as well as the Anglo-Saxon-style muffin sandwiches that the chef has spent months perfecting.
The sweet and savoury menu is complemented by a fine selection of coffees from Moïse's own roastery, and Australian-style offerings, with cold, hot and even more original coffees. We don't know about you, but we can already see ourselves drinking our morning coffee here, accompanied by a devilish waffle!
