The sushi jumps off the tray and slides into a tube! In Paris, Push-Pop sushi is already making waves on TikTok and drawing a lunchtime crowd outside C'Roll Sushi, just a stone’s throw from the Centre Pompidou. From plate to tube — it's just one step, or rather, one push away. In Paris, sushi on a tube are making waves and already racking up millions of views on TikTok. Just a stone’s throw from the Centre Pompidou, a queue forms every lunchtime in front of C'Roll Sushi. Their obsession? The famous sushi Push-Pop, these next-generation maki inspired directly by the New York sushi scene’s latest trend.

The viral concept in the United States — where Suka Sushi has been packed for weeks — is now making its debut in France. Here, the sushi is cleverly packaged in a cardboard tube, featuring ten pre-cut bites ready to be pushed out one by one. The setup is simple, fun, and perfectly tailored for social media: just detach the top and bottom, open the soy sauce straw (either sweet or savory), pour it directly into the roll, close it up, and then push through with the button on the bottom. No chopsticks or plates needed. And if you don't finish it all, just reseal the tube and reattach the straw to take your snack on the go.

Eight recipes are on offer, from the California Roll at €9 to the Tuna or Salmon Roll at €12, not to mention a Veggie option. The prices are similar to typical lunch menus but do not include side dishes such as coleslaw, miso soup, or seasoned rice. This is a specialized spot focused entirely on sushi in sushi rolls. To accompany your order, a few drinks are available for purchase separately, including soda cans and small bottles of still or sparkling water. No desserts or side dishes are offered.

Having been established in the neighborhood for several years, the restaurant has completely revamped its concept to introduce a fresh twist to the highly traditional Japanese dining scene and attract a new clientele. Fueled by the influence of food influencers and the buzz on social media, this playful, visually striking format designed for takeout could soon expand to other French cities.
