Les sucreries de Mélodie is a true address where luxury and gourmandise meet. Opened in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, Mélodie's store is sure to catch your eye with its bright, luxurious front. Dotted with pink, the store will dazzle you with a girly, kitsch ambiance, at least enough to captivate your attention on the various pastries and sweets beautifully presented in the displays.

The pastries and confectionery on offer here are out of the ordinary, as Mélodie has chosen to revisit American cakes while retaining her very own style. Whether it's cupcakes with their ultra-melting caramel, white chocolate Cranberry cookies that are creamy on the inside and crunchy on the outside, or Cake Pops, which are a kind of brownie cake in the shape of a lollipop, you won't be disappointed whatever you're looking for.

And that's not all! Mélodie also has your waistline in mind, offering light products that are just as delicious as the originals, such as fat-free mini-donuts that rival their chunkier brethren. As well as being tasty, Mélodie's creations are all surprising and beautifully presented, like the cupcake bouquet, the pink caramel popcorn or the lollipops in the shape of kisses.

Mélodie's sweets don't stop there, however, and the boutique serves as a showroom in a way, since Mélodie is a bespoke baker and will go to great lengths to prepare gift boxes, tarts or pièces montées, not forgetting cupcake bouquets for special events, of course. The store also offers a number of promotions, such as "Wednesday is free", with 3 cupcakes bought, the 4th free.

Manly readers shouldn't take offense at visiting this bonbonnière, because it's not just a place for women; you're entitled to your share of treats, too, and the hostesses will soften you up with heart-shaped hazelnut financiers.
