Faham is first and foremost a love story: chef and former Top Chef 2017 candidate Kelly Rangama and pastry chef with a flawless career in great palaces including Le Bristol Jérôme Devreese. Together, they created in the Batignolles neighborhood, a nice and lovely cocoon, bathed with light and very pleasant where you are warmly welcome and you can eat a delicious food.
Just the evocative name of this lovely, bright and cozy restaurant is an invitation to travel. As a matter of fact, Faham is an orchid from the Mascarene Islands generally used in rhum arrangé, one of Jérôme’s specialties. He shares this passion for exotic flowers and good food with his wife, Kelly.
The restaurant is a dream come true for the couple in real life and at work. They wanted to create a welcoming, laid-back place but with a sophisticated and semi-gourmet cuisine including a flawless service.
Together, they offer us an auteur cuisine inspired by Guadeloupe and the Reunion. One enjoys a very marine and tasty fusion cuisine that is joyful and very exotic but always right. In other words, a cuisine awakening the taste buds with subtle and delicate nods to the flavors, smells and colors of their islands.
Loyal to where they come from, they use many ingredients from the Réunion and Guadeloupe such as delicious Tamarillos, small and very sour tomatoes perfectly pairing rougail with sausage and saffron rice.
