Just because all your friends are away on vacation doesn't mean you have to let yourself down - on the contrary! Enjoying Paris in August is an excellent idea for anyone who likes the calm and the streets free of hurried passers-by. There is, however, one small drawback to this summer period: many restaurants close their doors.
