Loaf is a small store set in upper Marais, managed by two long-time friends – Trang and his smile at the reception – and Mirza in the kitchen, both willing to make you enjoy a delicious lunch on the go, and in record time.
The decoration of Loaf restaurant is very floral, with cilantro – a symbolic herb in Vietnamese cuisine – and Nón Là – traditional conic hats made of latanier palm leaves – for a unique ceiling.
Moving on to food, Loaf teams bets on FAST GOOD – eating on the go – HEALTHY FOOD – homemade daily with fresh vegetables – and ECOFRIENDLY – including carton and recyclable containers. On the menu, recipes available in bánh mì or bowl, and dishes of the day!
To whet your appetite, here are a few offers, the Twist and beef and sliced lemongrass-roasted side of beef, or even the Porc n’ Pickles and LOAF sauce meatballs, sorrel, and peanut butter.
For veggies, two signature recipes, Champignons de Paris marinés [marinated button mushrooms] and Tofu poêlé au soja sucré et gingembre [pan-seared tofu with sweetened soy sauce and ginger].
As for drinks, Water Detox LOAF or organic seasonal fruit juices – cold-squeezed. Currently available: “On se fend la poire”.
Moving on to desserts, Loaf supplies chia puddings, cakes, cookies, and other delightful treats.
