I Grappoli, the Italian restaurant for summer and winter alike

I Grappoli is the name of the new Italian trattoria on Place Denfert-Rochereau in the 14th arrondissement of Paris, which delights lovers of fresh pasta and wood-fired pizzas. With its lovely terrace, antispastis and aperitivo mode, it's a great place to sit when the sun is out.

An air of Dolce Vita awaits you at I Grappolli, this Italian restaurant on Place Denfert-Rochereau, ideally situated in front of a wooded park. A terrace in front, glass roofs that open to allow you to be inside as well as outside, red banquettes and warm colors form the decor of this welcoming trattoria.

This is the place to come for a nice cocktail, some good Italian wine and, above all, to enjoy homemade dishes. Whether it's winter with comfort food or summer (Indian) with great salads and other nice dishes to share with friends, I Groppoli is a good place to treat yourself.

We're tempted by dishes to share, such as the excellent Beignets de Mozzarella and the detailed Bruschetta, grilled in a wood-fired oven and garnished with tomatoes, olives, burrata and basil. On the appetizer side, the Ceviche of sea bass with cucumber, avocado, pomegranate and coriander catches our eye, and we're seduced by its finesse.

On the main course, it's hard to miss the wood-fired pizzas. We love the Burrata which, as the name suggests, is made with Pugliese Burrata, datterrino tomato sauce and basil pesto.

Of course, we don't pass up fresh pasta and opt for the Casareccia with creamy gorgonzola cream, accompanied by diced pear, arugula and pistachios. Beware, this is only for big gourmets, as it's quite generous. The house also offers a number of attractive dishes, such as the Caesar Salad, the Argentinian Rib and the famous Escalope Milanaise.

When winter arrives, it's time to indulge in cheese dishes!

Last but not least, don't miss the excellent, melt-in-the-mouth tiramisu or the café gourmand for a taste of everything from pistachio crème brulée to panna cotta with fruit coulis, not forgetting the mini version of tiramisu.
